Lava Passion

...Two reasons for this pic's existence.

First and foremost -- I wanted to get back to my roots as a Sonic The Hedgehog artist, a want primarily inspired by constant listening to music from various StH games, mostly the Genesis games. This site in particular has an entire remixed soundtrack for Sonic 3 & Knuckles, one of which the pic's title is stolen from, (which is also the reason I went and made that Lava Reef Zone-inspired backround to begin with).

The second reason? Well it's technically the same as the first, except the want to draw Sonic stuff mostly translates to "I wanna draw some of my old fanmade Sonic/Mobian characters...Sonic/Mobian style". Why Deiablos the Ifrit in particular (or should it be Diablo the Ifrit, his original name?)? ...well, again, I like the Lava Reef Zone music and, hey, he's a fire elemental.

And why the instrument? ...yet again, blame the friggin' song.
